What We Do

Architecture

We value innovation and creativity as we strive to test limits. We produce ground-breaking designs through a continual commitment to social, economic, and environmental ideals. Our design strategy is unique, shunning preconceptions and fixed architectural styles and methods. Each project is a unique opportunity to research, analyse and creatively respond to the brief, site, and context.

Interior Design

The commencement of our design starts by understanding each and every space in its individual functionality and also concocting of the same with its relation to the other contextual spaces in terms of their aesthetical value. Our approach is concept driven to the level of the highest possible detail to achieve a holistic vision of adding a glow to any space.

Urban Design

As a practice, we blend methodology with strategic thinking and dreaming. We weave public spaces, diverse uses, and memorable context into a distinctive pattern in relation to the context. We bring design experience and sensibility to the form and functionality of the city and a process of engagement with the fabric of urban life.

Product Design

We believe that product design is concerned primarily between products, systems and those who use them. As a methodology, designing a new product goes through an analytical process and relies on a problem-solving approach to improve the quality of life of the end user and their interaction with the environment.

Art + Installation

Driven by curiosity and passion for space making, art in any form whether be it musings or installations becomes an inseparable part of engaging creatively and ingeniously with the built environment.

Graphics + Branding

We look at each project at a holistic level that goes beyond the mere physical form of a product/space. Our process involves encasing the content in terms of visual aspects of wayfinding, communicating identity and information, and shaping the idea of creating experiences that connect people to place.

Research + Documentation

Central to our ethos is an appetite for enquiry, discovery and understanding. The commitment to making good projects is a marriage of discipline and an ingrained consistent methodology. Rationalising the creative thought process requires detailed study.

Heritage Management

The various initiatives of the studio, such as Madras Inherited, Houses of Mylapore or Sidhpur Heritage Project deals with the aspect of heritage studies called as Cultural Heritage Management. It has traditionally been concerned with identification, interpretation and promotion of the educational, historic and cultural value of significant cultural heritage sites.
